The contract for SP100 – Miscellaneous Airfield Works was a three-year contract for the development and refurbishment of the existing Dubai International Airport infrastructure to meet projected demands for 2020.
Dubai International Airport - Refurbishment of Two Runways
Refurbishing the two runways at Dubai International Airport - one of the busiest airport in the world - and the construction of new taxiways to enhance the airport’s capacity was not an easy challenge.
Abu Dhabi Airport Tunnel Project
On the 30th November 2014, Al Naboodah Construction Group successfully completed the midfield airside road tunnel works for Abu Dhabi Airports Company; three months ahead of deadline.
Al Barari Development Phase 1 Main Villa
In a northern sector of Dubai, off Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Road towards Abu Dhabi, the Al Barari Development Phase -1 main villa contract covers an area of 13 million sq ft. The development consisted of a four-stage construction of 305 luxury villas comprising four types of villas in two different styles – traditional and contemporary.
The Harvard Medical School Retail, Auditorium and Conference Space
Located at Dubai Health Care City, this project comprised the construction of two separate wings joined by a central atrium – two basements and three storeys high.
Dubai Police GHQ Forensic Building
Dubai Police commissioned the construction of a new forensic building at their headquarters in Al Twar. The building is a contemporary, signature, four-storey reinforced concrete (RC) structure with glass and aluminum cladding.
The i-Rise Tower
This state-of-the-art commercial building located in TECOM, Dubai, rises to 36 storeys and consists of 534 offices with 2,297 car parking spaces.
The Oberoi Centre at Business Bay
The Oberoi Centre is a high-rise, ultra-modern, mixed-use development, located at the entrance to Business Bay.
Arabian Centre Mall
The opening of Dubai’s Arabian Center Mall, home to 175 international retail brands and covering 80,000m2, also marked the successful completion of the MEP work on the AED 135 million project.
79 Villas – Lime Tree Valley
The scope of work for this project included civil, structural and finishing works for 79 villas at Jumeirah Golf Estates Phase II, located 22 km south-west of Dubai city centre towards the Jebel Ali area.
Al Khawaneej Villas
This project consists of the construction of 40 luxury villas and ancillary buildings at Plot Number: 271-288, Wadi Al Amardi, Al Khawaneej-2, Dubai. The scope of work includes structural, internal finishes and MEP and infrastructure works.
Olive Point Villas
Olive point is a residential development with 43 high end villas at the Jumeirah Golf Estates, Dubai. The scope of work for this project included civil, architectural, building, engineering, installation and landscaping works.
Sienna Lake Villas
The Sienna Lakes development at Jumeirah Golf Estates comprises 68 villas overlooking the 13th and 16th holes of the Fire golf course.
Dubai Ring Road Phase 1 (Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Road)
The original Dubai Ring Road was designed to alleviate traffic congestion on Sheikh Zayed Road, providing an alternative route for travel between Sharjah and the Jebel Ali Free Zone.
Dubai Bypass Phase 3
Completed in April 2008, this scheme was one of three major infrastructure contracts that provided a strategic link between Sharjah and the Northern Emirates to the new International Airport at Jebel Ali and on to Abu Dhabi. This vital route was a key part of the government’s strategy to remove HGV traffic from the heavily-congested Dubai Ring Road in addition to accommodating future growth.
La Ville Contemporaine, Business Bay Infrastructure Works – Phase 1 and 2
This multi-faceted project included the provision of different types of works and facilities such as water networks, bridges and service tunnels to one of Dubai's most vibrant areas.
Parallel Roads Project
The Parallel Roads Project was a series of major infrastructure works commissioned by the RTA to provide a strategic link between Sheikh Zayed Road and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road.
Sowwah Island – Roads and Bridges – Abu Dhabi
This project involved the design and build of four bridges, with 6km of elevated carriageway.
Yas Island Southern Vehicular Tunnel
This subsea tunnel links Yas Island to the mainland and provides a three-lane, two-way traffic tunnel plus the provision for a future metro line.
The Palm Jumeirah - Design and Construction of Service Tunnels
The construction of Palm Jumeirah, by Nakheel Properties, was a key strategic development in the real estate sector of Dubai. The connection of primary infrastructure between the 'fronds' and the discrete ‘crescent’ was one of the many major challenges faced by the master developer.
Gravity Utility Systems and Microtunnelling Construction
Al Naboodah Construction Group was awarded the deep utilities and sewage contract for the Abu Dhabi Airports Project in March 2012.
